Business Development Executive (Waste Industry)

Our client is a regional market-leader within the waste management industry having built up and retained a number of key clients across the South West both within both the private and public type.  

They now seek to appoint a driven, highly motivated and effective ‘hunter’ who will be exclusively focussed upon lead-generation/prospecting, canvassing for new business and securing new clients across the Devon area. This will also potentially require networking and attending various events.  

Applicants must have previous sales experience within the waste industry (having worked for either a similar regional or national waste-industry company within a business development or sales-executive role). A solid track record of success and proven sales ability is essential.  

Whilst the majority of time will be spent field-based, the successful applicant will also work closely with the office based team, attending sales meetings and focussing efforts to develop business in key types/areas as agreed.
